Reaching Lapel. All for Christ.
Sundays 10:30 A.M. & 6 P.M.
For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Romans 10:13
Thank you so much for visiting our website. Our site should be able to answer most of the questions you may have about our church. However, nothing will take the place of a personal visit. We’d like to personally invite you to visit one of our services. We are a family-oriented church whose main focus is to honor and glorify the Lord.
We are currently seeking the man who God has for our congregation as our next Lead Pastor. Brother Jimmy Gilbert, our former pastor, has followed God’s leading into a full-time evangelist ministry. We are excited for what God is doing at Bethel and we are praying that the Lord leads us to the man He would have to shepherd our flock. We are seeking someone with a strong faith, sound Biblical teaching, and a heart to serve the congregation. We are confident that with the man the Lord will show us, Bethel Baptist Church will remain a warm and welcoming place to worship.

Do you have questions about what you might expect when you visit Bethel Baptist Church? Here are some of the more commonly asked questions and answers!
What are your services like?
The purpose of every service is to worship our Savior. We do this through music, prayer and Biblical preaching. You can sing along to the traditional hymns you love and maybe learn a new worship chorus with us as we joyfully and reverently worship our great God!
How should I dress?
There is no dress code. On a typical Sunday, you may see someone in a suit and others in jeans.
Do you have anything for kids?
We have a nursery for small children available during all our services. For older children, we have Sunday School for all ages during our Sunday School hour, and Children’s Church during our regular service time. Wednesday evenings we have a special class for ages 3-12 that meets in the fellowship hall during our prayer meeting and the youth group meets in the bus barn for ages 13-18 on Wednesday evenings.
What are your service times?
Our service times are as follows:
Sunday School Classes: 9:30 A.M.
Sunday Morning Worship: 10:30 A.M.
Sunday Evening Worship: 6:00 P.M.
Wednesday Prayer Meeting: 7:00 P.M.

The Lord's Supper
We obediently set aside time to observe Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection for our sins.

We believe we should talk to God about everything, both individually and corporately.
